NorthStarr Notes: Up until this point our products have been hats and t-shirts however, our aspirations are much greater. It’s always been our intent to broaden the STARR STORES offerings. Seven new products have been brought to the market. We have a  Black NorthStarr Classic  Leather Goods Zipper Wallet, NorthStarr Classic Apparel Black Billfold with Brown stitching, NorthStarr Classic Apparel Black Leather Zipper Wallet, NorthStarr Classic Apparel Burgundy Leather Zipper Wallet, Black NorthStarr Classic Apparel Slim Wallet, Light Brown NorthStarr Classic Apparel Slim Cardholder Wallet, and Brown NorthStarr Classic Apparel Clutch Purse. These leather goods come in different, styles sizes, and colors.

Black NorthStarr Classic  Leather Goods Leather Zipper Wallet

The NorthStarr Classic Leather Goods is unique from this cluster because it’s the only item that adorns the logo that reads NorthStarr Classic Leather Goods. The others say NorthStarr Classic Apparel. Moving forward all goods in this category will have this logo. The leather is distressed, which means the look and color could get altered over time. Along the side of the wallet, you will find a zipper that goes around the edge. Insider, there is a place to hold cash, coins, and cards. If you tend to have various items in tow this design could be fitting. One big plus to this style is if you have ever had cards etc fly out of your wallet when you remove it from your back pocket, this won’t happen with this design due to the zipper.

NorthStarr Classic Apparel Black Billfold

This wallet is designed in more of a traditional style billfold look. The stitching is brown and the logo lives in the right bottom corner. There is a clear window-like space as well as options for cash and cards inside. The size is much sleeker than the NorthStarr Classic Leather Goods zipper wallet.

NorthStarr Classic Apparel Zipper Wallet

Stylistically this zipper wallet has all of the exact details as the NorthStarr Classic Leather Goods wallet. It’s a mirror image of that design. The only difference is in the bottom right corner it says NorthStarr Classic Apparel.

NorthStarr Classic Apparel logo is vertical on the front. Perfect for those who want to carry a few cards. It’s made from distressed leather so the product can take on a different look over time. The leather can soften and develop a warn unique aesthetic over time.

NorthStarr Classic Apparel Slim Cardholder Wallet. NorthStarr Classic Apparel logo in black on the front. The distressed leather allows for inconstancies in the leather, small scratches, etc. Thus, everyone’s wallet will have its uniqueness. This wallet is perfect for people that are true minimalists, that only desire to carry their ID, one credit card, debit, or driver’s license.

Clutch Purse

The Brown NorthStarr Classic Apparel Clutch Purse ushers in our new category of leather goodies. The NorthStarr Classic Apparel logo lives on the front of the brown clutch purse with visible stitching, a wrist strap, inside zip pocket.

Small scratches, marks, and natural color differences can occur with “Crazy Horse Leather”, before receiving the purse as well as over time (See photos). However, many people see this as the uniqueness of this type of leather.  We want to highlight this so that people understand the product before purchasing. If you are in the market for a clutch that will look the same for the purse’s life, this is not the purse for you.

PACKAGING

Although this is new waters for us we wanted to continue to make a strong effect as it pertains to the look and feel of the packaging. We call the wooden box style that is used puzzle piece, because of the ways in which the top is cut and it fits in the space much like a puzzle. They currently come in two sizes a longer design that is for larger products such as the brown clutch purse. The square-style box is cut to fit the small ideas for example the wallets. However, one consistency is the soft black lining inside each option. All products are wrapped in black paper and accompanied by a NorthStarr Classic Apparel sticker. The logo is ingrained on the top of each box.

CONCLUSION

Ultimately our overall goal was to expand outside of typical apparel and into a new space while withholding our three C principles’ Clean, Creative, and Classy. FEEL FREE TO VISIT THE STARR STORE “FASHION WITH A STATEMENT!”
